The Probus Club of Kingscliff was established in December 1982 as a social club for active retirees
living in the Kingscliff area of the far north coast of NSW. We have a monthly meeting on the first
Wednesday of each month at the Kingscliff Beach Bowls Club at 10am.
The Club organises a monthly outing, trip or social lunch and facilitates a variety of social activities
including coffee and movie outings.

The Probus Club of Kingscliff's monthly meeting is the centrepiece of our activities, nurturing Friendship, Fellowship and Fun.
Before each meeting begins at 10am members and guests gather to mingle and chat and there's more social time during the 25-30 minute morning tea break.
The meeting starts with the President and Committee members reporting on Club activities and conveners of Activity Groups provide updates.
After morning tea comes a Guest Speaker with an interesting story to tell.
There is a meeting fee of $5.00 which includes morning tea and raffle tickets.
Travel is a key activity of the Probus Club of Kingscliff, with a wide variety of bi-monthly outings for members.
Day trips are usually to a destination within two hours of Kingscliff and include morning tea and lunch, with visits to one or more attractions - travelling in a luxury coach.
Theatre / Attraction Outings are mostly to major events, including live theatre shows and concerts in Brisbane, or or an overnight trip to an event like the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers and Christmas in July at Bellingen.
From time to time the Club organises a longer trip over several days to iconic destinations like Kangaroo Island and Norfolk Island.
All Trips and Outings are booked with travel, tickets, some food and accommodation included.
All travelers are covered by Probus insurance.
The mantra "Friendship, Fellowship and Fun" is why the Probus Club of Kingscliff supports a number of smaller groups, convened by club members, running a variety of interesting activities for members' participation.
There's a Coffee Morning every month (usually the second Wednesday) at a different location in our district, where members and their guests spend an hour or so, with Coffee & Cake, catching up and sharing stories.
We have a Movie Group, with members attending a Sunday afternoon screening at the TriCare retirement Village, Hastings Point.
These and other group activities are available to Club members, with information provided at monthly meetings and in the Club newsletter.
